Now that you had a little introduction on who we are, we'll also let you in on where it all began...
In 2011 we all met at the company where we've been working at that time.
Beginning of the year Michael and me (Isah) got to know each other as friends first, but after many dates and months later, we finally made it official! I'll not let you in on the nitty gritty of it all, cause that part is private... :-) Let's just say that after all the ups and downs, our relationship bloomed into something beautiful, like every relationship you most probably know.
Erik started working in the same company around April. We worked in the same team, so we already knew each other as co-workers.
One particular workday when my shift only ended at 6PM, I had a little break around 4-ish with other colleagues and were talking about our experiences of that day, when Erik joined us after his workday finished.
We were just chitchatting when I asked him if he didn't have to go home yet (as his shift ended and I guess he had better things to do than to hang around at work for much longer), in Flemish it would be: "Ga je nog niet naar huis?", he answered: "Nee, ik heb geen haast", meaning that he wasn't in a rush but I misunderstood him and thought he said: "Nee, ik heb geen huis" which means that he has no house!
I felt pity and asked him with a very sad face where he lived if he didn't have a house, you should have seen his face at that point! He started laughing while explaining me that he said that he wasn't in a rush! At that moment I started laughing so hard that tears were rolling down my cheeks! Right then and there I knew that a friendship was born! And along the way Michael and Erik also became best friends who share their men humor, which, we women sometimes cannot understand... :-)
Ever since we've had many adventures, parties, happy and sad moments together which made us inseparable for life!
